YOKAMO LIMITED(“YOKAMO”, “we”, “us”) is a company incorporated in Hong Kong. Our registered office is at Unit 1603, 16/F, The L. Plaza, 367-375 Queen's Road Central, Sheung Wan, Hong Kong. We operate the website at https://yokamo.tech(the “Site”).

2. Information we collect

We collect information you provide directly to us, including:

• Contact and enquiry data — name, company name, email address, phone number, and any details you include in a contact or freight-quotation form.
• Communication data — emails, messages, or other correspondence you send us.
• File uploads — documents you attach to enquiry submissions (stored securely on AWS S3).

We also collect limited technical data automatically:

• IP address, browser type and version, referring URL, pages viewed, and time of visit — used solely for security monitoring and aggregate analytics.

3. How we use your information

We use your data to:

• Respond to your enquiries and provide freight or logistics services.
• Send you service-related communications (quotations, confirmations).
• Improve the Site and our services.
• Comply with applicable legal obligations.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

4. Legal basis for processing

Where applicable data-protection law requires a legal basis, we rely on: (a) your consent (where you have given it); (b) the performance of a contract with you; or (c) our legitimate interests in operating and improving our services, where those interests are not overridden by your rights.

We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, loss, or disclosure. File uploads are stored in a private AWS S3 bucket — access requires time-limited presigned URLs generated server-side; no public URLs are ever issued.

7. Cookies

The Site uses only strictly necessary session cookies required for authentication and security. We do not use advertising, tracking, or analytics cookies. No cookie-consent banner is therefore required under ePrivacy rules.

8. Third-party services

We use the following third-party providers, each subject to its own privacy policy:

• AWS (Amazon Web Services) — file storage and hosting infrastructure.
• Cloudflare — DDoS protection, CDN, and Turnstile spam protection.
• Anthropic — AI model powering the on-site chat assistant (queries are not stored by YOKAMO beyond the session).

9. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal data, or to object to processing and request portability. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at hk@yokamo.com.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be indicated by updating the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
